    Lower Cost

    After completing a lot of online research, this laser cap is about $500 to $700 less than the same exact high end cap offered by other companies. My understanding is that BJ is cutting out a layer of salespeople which allows the price to be cheaper. (Since the cap only needs to be used 6 minutes a day, this indicates the power/effectiveness of the laser diodes.)

The device is cleared for androgenetic (genetic) hair loss, also known as male or female pattern hair loss. It is not intended for:
• Postpartum , stress-related, autoimmune, or chemotherapy-induced hair loss
• Scarring alopecia or complete baldness
• Use on the face or body
The interior circumference of the cap is 22.5 inches. While we have found that it fits comfortably on most head sizes, we recommend measuring your head's circumference prior to ordering.
Some users may notice a temporary increase in shedding within the first few weeks of use. This is a normal part of the hair cycle as resting hairs are released to make way for new growth. Shedding typically stabilizes within 1–2 months, followed by visible regrowth by around 16 weeks.
Consistent use is essential - if treatment stops, hair will gradually return to baseline.
The treatment is painless and feels like wearing a cap. You may notice a mild warming sensation on the scalp during use, which is normal.
The cap is FDA-cleared for Fitzpatrick Skin Types I-IV (fair to medium tones)
It is not cleared for Types V-VI, which include darker complexions.

To submit a warranty claim, you’ll need to work with our Customer Experience team through the troubleshooting process. This may include sending photos or videos of the issue. In some cases, you may be asked to send your device to our team for further testing.
• If the device is found to be working as intended, it will be returned to you.
• If the device is found to be defective, your claim will be evaluated, and if approved, a replacement device will be sent.
